On September 30 the Port St. Lucie Business Women (PSLBW) celebrated their 40th anniversary. Deeply rooted and anchored within our community, its members have supported and served many needs and projects, making a positive impact with the hope for a better community and a commitment that they can and will make a difference.

Five years ago, to commemorate their 35th anniversary the PSLBW planted a live oak tree in front of the Port St. Lucie City Hall. This year Yellowstone Landscape (yellowstonelandscape.com), which donated and planted the tree, is providing the design, materials and labor to install a brick paver pathway extending from the sidewalk to the tree, connecting the 40th anniversary project to the 35th anniversary project.

As a fundraiser and as a way to customize the pathway, the PSLBW is inviting the community to be part of its Ruby Jubilee celebration and purchase an engraved brick to honor a family member or friend, memorialize someone special, celebrate a special event or showcase a business in front of City Hall. Each personalized brick becomes a lasting tribute that will be seen and remembered by visitors, guests and members of our community.

All proceeds will go to the PSLBW‘s Scholarship awards and Community Action & Grants. Your support is greatly appreciated and will continue helping assure the futures of women attending Indian River State College and provide much-needed funding to local non-profit agencies serving women and children.

Each engraved brick costs $100. To order, go to PSLBW.com and click on the “Ruby Jubilee” tab, or go to https://brickmarkersusa.com/donors/pslb.html. For more information Diane Gallagher at (772) 260-2097 or by email at dsgdesigns@comcast.net.
